In today’s fast-paced clinical environment, the well-being of mental health practitioners is often overlooked in service to others. At Creative Depth, we recognize that tending to your own psychological landscape isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. Yet traditional models often suggest this inner work must happen outside the therapeutic space, adding pressure to invest in self-care as another item on an already full to-do list. What if, instead, your work with clients became a place of nourishment for both of you?
Rooted in depth psychological principles, our programs offer a both/and approach—supporting clinicians in deepening their inner lives while enriching the therapeutic process. This isn't about adding more, but about shifting how you engage. Through dream work, symbolic inquiry, imaginative acts, and embodied reflection, you’ll learn how to integrate self and soul into the heart of your practice. Creative Depth was born out of a desire to support you and to reconnect the clinical setting with deeper meaning and greater imagination which holds the power to transform and revitalize the work.
This is more than professional development. Our topic focused small groups offers a restorative and regenerative space to deepen your practice skills. Join us for a collaborative and reflective inquiry where the focus is on deepening your clinical practice and nurturing the art of a depth-oriented approach.
By giving voice to your inner knowing and engaging with symbolic material in your work, you can cultivate your own aliveness and build greater emotional resilience. As a result you can bring deeper resonance and greater attunement into your clinical practice.

An integrative approach that incorporates the innate intelligence of the lived-body.
It is of vital importance to incorporate embodied expressions in the clinical setting because so many life experiences are difficult to fully articulate or even verbalize. Embodied practices engage a deep line of inquiry that can be especially lucrative when talk therapy alone has reached an impasse. At the heart of this offering is a commitment to honoring the interconnection between psyche and soma.
These groups invite not only intellectual exploration but also somatic engagement. Drawing from the rich lineage of Carl Jung, Marion Woodman, Stephen Porges, and other pioneers in somatic depth-oriented psychology, we will explore clinical material in ways that reach beyond conventional dialogue. Participants can expect a blend of reflective discussion, somatic awareness practices and symbolic inquiry.
Whether you are new to body-based methods or looking to enrich your current practice these groups will enter you into the landscape of embodied practices so you’ll leave with greater confidence, clarity, and an expanded therapeutic toolkit.Â
JOIN GROUPAll small group programs are designed to support ongoing professional development and personal discovery. Individual programs have been carefully curated to expand your knowledge of important depth psychological principles, nurture an ongoing relationship with the inner realm, and deepen your appreciation and understanding of the unfathomable depths of the unconscious.
Builds a bridge between the unconscious realm and conscious awareness.Â
When you incorporate the art and practice of dream work in the therapeutic setting it facilitates greater self-awareness and provides you with important insight into the inner workings of the individual psyche. This inner world provides important insight into many facets of the personality and uncovers relational dynamics, the nature of the complex and all sorts of unconscious material that may be limiting psychological development.Â
Dream work groups will explore the nature of dreams from the Jungian perspective and many depth psychological principles that support dream inquiry. Each group will consist of major concepts such as the Jungian map of the psyche, archetypal patterns, shadow material, the persona, and other related ideas coupled with dream vignettes.
During these programs you will enter into the fascinating world of dreams, come to understand how dreams can support deeper resonance, and learn how dreams can be engaged to contribute towards more meaningful exchanges in the clinical setting. Whether you’re new to dreamwork or looking to deepen your current practice, these groups will offer practical techniques and profound insights to expand your clinical repertoire.
Nurture a space for the emergence of unknown psychological material.Â
In a psychological field where efficiency and evidence-based outcomes often dominate much of clinical practice it is perhaps even more vital to make room for spontaneity, play, and the emergence of deeper mysteries. Imaginative acts are gateways into the unknown and enter into a terrain of the psyche where greater insight facilitates a natural unfolding of a deeper and more enduring transformational process.
Imaginative acts are not devoid of clinical rigor. Since imaginative acts afford an expression of the unknown in conjunction with a sense of safety and security, they are actually proven methods to enhance vagal tone, positive mental health outcomes, and for supporting overall health and greater well-being.
Through guided exercises, reflective dialogue, and shared inquiry, participants will learn how to formulate a deep respect for the transformative power of imagination in clinical work. These practices serve to revitalize clinical work, expand therapeutic flexibility, and open portals that more deeply attune to the symbolic language of the psyche that nurtures psychological growth and the path to wholeness.Â
